He is an attorney and also a patent, design, trademark and copyright practitioner with over 20 years of experience currently practicing in Vietnam for Bross & Partners.

2017 - 2021

His earning many international individual accolades, for example, the second year listed in the world leading patent and trademark practitioners as the WTR1000^[1] and IAM Patent 1000^[2] respectively (2020).

In July 2021, he was identified as a leading author in the Lexology Legal Influencer Q2 2021^[3] for IP - Cross-border.

Between 2014 and 2017, he was consecutively ranked as one of the Asian leading lawyers by the Asialaw Profiles.

In 2020, the Asialaw Profiles ranked Vinh as a distinguished practitioner.^[4]

Vinh also actively delivered comment and critique on the amendments to the IP Law

2014 - 2015

Invited by the Inspector of the MoST as a moderator leading the seminar "Handling domain names infringing intellectual property rights" held in Ho Chi Minh City in July 2015.

On August 18 and 19, 2015, Vinh were invited by the MUTRAP as one of the speakers to train IP law to the specialized inspectors under the provincial Departments of Science and Technology nationwide with the focus on IP enforcement.

In April 2014, Vinh was appointed by the INTA to be the host organizing the academic seminar on "Overlapping protection of 3D trademark, design and copyright”.

A 190-page study report as a result of “Project on Protection of Well-known Trademark under Vietnamese Laws - Situation and Solution" co-authored by attorney Le Quang Vinh and Dr. Phan Ngoc Tam sponsored by the INTA and Ministry of Science and Technology.

Article “A brief history of protection” published on World Trademark Review, Issue June/July 2014 commenting the famous protection regime under the laws of Vietnam.

Experiences in legal consultancy and litigation

Legal representative as barristers defending the defendant FPT Telecom Joint Stock Company against the copyright lawsuit initiated by Phong Phu Sac Viet Joint Stock Company (POPs).

Counselling Viet Phap Shal Aluminum Joint Stock Company, the right holder of registered trademarks Viet Phap Shal, to protect its trademark rights against the trademark counterfeit profiles by criminal measures and as a result, the criminal case wherein the criminal liability for corporation were first time prosecuted and adjudicated under Section 226 of the 2015 Penal Code as revised by the People's Court of Phu Tho province in January 2020.

Legal representative for famous director Viet Tu participated in counselling and drafting cooperation contracts with his partners regarding creative products in the field of performing art and stage.

Advising Dak Lak Provincial People's Committee on the validity cancellation against 2 trademarks Buon Ma Thuot coffee which are protected as geographical indication of Vietnam were appropriated in China in 2011.^[5]

Advising and representing Vinamilk to win when Hero AG (Switzerland) claiming for revoking Vinamilk’s registered trademark Dielac Pedia under registration no. 53878.^[6],etc.
