Education

Mr. Tran Minh Duc graduated with a Bachelor of Laws majoring in Economic Law at the Hanoi Law University in 1999 and a Bachelor of Business Administration at the  University of Danang – the University of Economics in 2004.

In 2006, he graduated with a Master of Laws, majoring in Economic Law, Ho Chi Minh City University of Law. In 2012, he successfully defended his doctoral thesis majoring in Economic Law at the Graduate Academy of Social Sciences of the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences and was recognized for a Doctor of Law degree in 2013.

He has in-depth knowledge of economic law such as corporate law, tax, business dispute resolution, administrative jurisdiction, etc. With his understanding, he published the book "Personal income Tax Law in Vietnam" - published by Judiciary Publisher. In addition to writing books, Dr. Tran Minh Duc also contributed many articles in specialized jurisprudence newspapers and magazines.

Professional activities

During the teaching process at the Academy of Social Sciences (which only offers postgraduate training in social sciences, including law majors), Mr. Tran Minh Duc was appointed as the Chief Representative of the Graduate Academy of Social Sciences at Da Nang City in 2015. In 2018, he was appointed as the Principal Lecturer of the Graduate Academy of Social Sciences under the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences.

Currently, Mr. Tran Minh Duc is holding the position of Deputy Director at the Institute of Social Sciences of the Central Region and Deputy Director at the Graduate Academy of Social Sciences under the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences. In addition to performing management duties, he also conducts scientific research, policy advice and intensive teaching on law for graduate classes.

Experiences in legal consultancy and litigation

Along with the research and teaching process, Mr. Tran Minh Duc also regularly provides policy advice on social science issues, including the legal field for organizations, and businesses operating in many different fields.
